The 2026 National Truck Driving & Step Van Driving Championships will unite the country’s most skilled and safety-conscious professional drivers for an exciting week of competition, camaraderie, and celebration in Pittsburgh. After competing in state-level contests over the past months, the top finalists will come together to demonstrate their precision, safety expertise, and professionalism.
Drivers will be tested across multiple vehicle categories through a written exam, a thorough pre-trip inspection, and a demanding skills course designed to challenge accuracy under pressure. Awards will recognize First, Second, and Third Place in each class, alongside the Professional Excellence Award, the Vehicle Condition Award, and the Rookie of the Year honor—culminating in the crowning of the prestigious Grand Champion.
