The DLCC has a 700-car parking garage attached to the building. Numerous accessible parking options are on the first level of the garage, with close access to the ballroom entrance and East Lobby entrance.
The DLCC has curb cut-outs at the East Lobby and West Lobby entrances on 10th Street. These cut-outs provide easy access to the main lobby areas. Sliding glass doors and accessible doors are located at each main lobby with clear access to elevators.
All restroom facilities at the DLCC are equipped for standard wheelchair accessibility. The Center also provides family restrooms, which are located throughout the building.
All elevators are accessible, are equipped with Braille signage, and lead to all levels of the Convention Center.
Service animals that are specifically trained to provide assistance to an individual with a disability are welcome in the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. All service animals must remain on a leash or in a harness, and be under control of the guest with a disability or a designee.
The DLCC has complimentary non-motorized wheelchairs available for guests to use while on site. Wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are located at the East Lobby security desk, West Lobby security desk, and the Spirit of Pittsburgh Ballroom, Presented by Dollar Bank, security desk. Wheelchairs are not permitted to leave the property.
For accessibility-related information, please refer to the following maps of all four levels of the DLCC.
Visitors can gain access to the hotel walkway from the first and second floors of the parking garage, or on the third floor of the DLCC. Each side of the hotel walkway is equipped with automatic doors.

The Convention Center Riverfront Plaza is a portion of the Three Rivers Heritage Trail which connects Point State Park to the Strip District. The Plaza is accessible via a ramp located at the crosswalk on 10th Street and Fort Duquesne Blvd.
Disability Evacuation Plan
The DLCC has developed and maintains an evacuation plan with specific information related to guests with disabilities. You may request a copy of this plan from your event coordinator or by email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
On the second level of the DLCC, we offer a dedicated space for parents of newborns/infants to be used as a private space for nursing mothers. When at the DLCC, please ask a staff member for the location and how to gain access.
